Metal Roofing

Why Metal Roofing?
Metal roofs have 0% annual maintenance, are energy efficient, sustainable, and provide a measurable impact on the quality of water from rooftop runoff.  It is commonly preferred for collecting rainwater for domestic, non-potable use. Metal roofing is one of the most sustainable roofing materials available today.  Many panels are 100% recyclable.  Metal roofs reflect the portion of light off of the roof surface creating a "cool roof".  Cool roofs can contribute significantly to lower energy efficiency of a home, reducing A/C needs, lowering energy bills, and improving indoor comfort.  Recently metal roofs are trending and are used to compliment other features on the exterior of a home.

Different Styles of Metal Roofing

Metal Roofing Shake
Matterhorn Metal Roofing Shake
Metal roofing shake has double the lifespan of a traditional cedar shake roof.  It is maintenance free, is 4 energy star and CRRC-rated, and is 100% recyclable.  There is no mold, algae, insect problems, or rot with a metal shake roof, unlike traditional cedar shake roofs.

Metal Roofing Tile

Matterhorn Metal Roofing Tile
Metal roofing tile is recommended over clay roofing tiles because it is fade-resistant, lighter weight, 8 energy star and CRRC-rated and is far more durable than a clay roofing tile.

Metal Roofing Slate
Matterhorn Metal Roofing Slate
Metal roofing slate is 500-700 lbs lighter per square when compared to a natural slate roof.  It is maintenance free and 2 energy star and CRRC-rated unlike natural slate.  Natural slate is susceptible to cracking and chipping unlike metal roofing slate.
